HOMESHORING: what it is

It’s the newest home office application for the world of call centers. GRID’s homeshoring agents access the call center system through a special broadband ADSL connection. This way they can work from home, with the same effectiveness as if they were in one of GRID’s offices in the Tirana headquarters.
HOMESHORING: how it works

GRID HOMESHORING uses the VOIP – Voice Over Internet Protocol – technology, which transforms voices into data packages that can be sent through the web and, when they reach their destination, are decoded back into voices. The phone call is made from GRID’s central switchboard and shunted automatically to the homeshoring agent’s home phone, without any cost to him.

The resources selected to become GRID homeshoring agents must pass a personalized training course before they begin work, including:
- fundamentals of sales techniques
- product/service specifications to propose
GRID homeshoring agents know their supervisors, who monitor their telephone performance and help them to continuously improve the quality of the service they provide and grow professionally.
