The agenda for Grid’s 5th anniversary celebration includes a number of different initiatives designed to celebrate this important event, culminating in the first conference on the topic of “Call Centers: personnel recruitment through Social Networks and Homeshoring”. Representatives of the Republic of Albania will be in attendance.

Fabrizio Simonetti, Grid CEO, in an interview published in the 20/01/2011 edition of the magazine Klan, emphasized the success of the “…first time that Facebook has been used in Albania for recruitment purposes, permitting Grid to expand to other areas of the country and facilitating the participation of young Albanians in the world of information processing”…..(read more )

The results of the Grid Roadshow for the selection of Homeshoring personnel went beyond our expectations.

August 10 – September 10::

  • 45,154 young people “clicked” on the Facebook icon inviting them to apply for a Homeshoring position (home office)
  • Grid received 600 job application e-mails
  • 200 young people applied in person at the Grid headquarters in Tirana

 

During the Roadshow, which began in the main Albanian cities – Scutari, Elbasan, Valona, …. – 545 prospective young workers were interviewed in the month of September, and 140 were chosen to participate in the Training courses, which were held in October.

48 young people from Scutari work for Grid in Homeshoring mode. Grid’s plan for developing the Homeshoring model in Albania includes a penetration strategy that covers the entire country, to be implemented within.

March 6th, in Scutari, Grid announced its Homeshoring diversification policy, presenting it first at the Millennium Cinema and later at the conference center of the Hotel Europa, a special event attended by hundreds of young job seekers, the local and national authorities and the press.
